My experience with J.J.’s was about as positive as it can get. The service was phenomenal and unlike anything I’ve experienced in the past. My car needed a new transmission and still should have some life on the engine. They presented me with multiple options and I never felt pressured to go with any of them. After I agreed with a used transmission they recommended other repairs but also sent me a video showing the damaged parts and explaining what doing or not doing the work would mean in very simple terms. I agreed to the additional investment in hopes I get at least another 3 years out of this vehicle. Great service overall! To be very clear for some more context, I absolutely despise car mechanics and in the 30+ years I’ve been a car owner my experiences are generally 80% negative. I have trust issues and have caught many trying to milk me for everything I’m worth over the years. One service department at local dealership tried to suggest that replacing my suspension (on a separate vehicle) would be like a spa day for my car…. Seriously??? Anyway - so far so good. J.J.’s has given me no reason to doubt their qualifications or intentions thus far and this is after pretty significant level of service. My car is driving a lot better than it was with the updates. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that maybe I’ve found myself a decent car mechanic. 🤞
