I had a very concerning experience with JJs Auto Service Center. I brought my 2008 GMC Acadia in for a diagnostic and oil change. The vehicle was fully drivable when I dropped it off. Their own technician even recorded a video stating they could NOT duplicate the engine reduced power issue. They recommended about $2,000 in repairs, which I declined, and I only approved an oil change. Within minutes of leaving their shop, my vehicle began shutting off and became completely undrivable. This was NOT happening before I brought it in. When I returned to the shop with my father-in-law, the response I received was dismissive. I was told that since I previously had a warning light, something like this can happen, instead of them offering to recheck the vehicleeven though they had just worked on it. That did not sit right with me. They had already inspected components like wiring and sensors under the hood, and now immediately after their service, the vehicle is no longer drivable. I also have video evidence from their technician and saved messages confirming the vehicle had no active issue while in their possession. Ive since spoken with other mechanics, and the repair pricing I was quoted appears significantly higher than typical for those parts. Now Im dealing with towing, additional diagnostics, repair costs, and loss of transportationall after my vehicle was returned in worse condition than when I brought it in. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to any repairs here.
